The 2008 Commissioner's Awards for Bravery: Widow Josephine Correos accepted the Commissioner's Award for Bravery on behalf of her husband, Benjamin Correos, who sacrificed his own life to save his young son, Myles, from drowning in the Yukon River. Brendan Preston recieved the award for his efforts to save Correos. |
