Nominate Someone

Deadline for nominations for the next Commissioner’s Awards is October 3, 2008 at 5 p.m.

Eligibilty

Anyone who has made a significant contribution to Yukon. Even citizens who reside outside Yukon will be considered for the awards.

The Awards Committee decides who will recieve the award. The committee includes the Commissioner and people from across Yukon.

The nomination

A nomination letter must be in writing and have two signatures.
The initial letter should describe in detail the reason for the nomination.
The letter must have a completed Nomination Form (can also be picked up at the Commissioner’s Office) attached.
2-3 letters of suppoert must be attached to the initial nomination letter and the nomination form. Support letters should describe the impact of the nominee's actions. An impact statement from the person who received the service is strongly recommended. The best letters of support come directly from people affected by what the nominee has done.

You can not nominate yourself, your spouse or a member of your immediate family.
